DataSet on Frogs from North America
Frogs, like all other amphibians, are declining all around the world, in both pristine and protected areas as well as suburban marshes bordered by highways. This decline is due to the combined effects of a number of factors, such as an increase in ultraviolet rays, chemical pollution, habitat destruction, overharvesting, climate change, the introduction of exotic species and the propagation of diseases and fungi.
